Since joining LandLAB as a graduate Landscape Architect, Yichen has enjoyed working with the team on various urban projects across Auckland City. Completing her master's at Cornell University in 2022, Yichen's work emphasises coastal resiliency and tidal influences, and she is passionate about climate adaptive design. Yichen is enthusiastic about her work and is often found modelling and testing designs, interrogating the form and function. Yichen may come across as shy, but just wait until you see her at the controls of a Rhino model or on the hip-hop dance floor_
